Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the SustainaMET platform ("the Service"), operated by SustainaMET, a division of Sustainability For All. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SustainaMET provides tools to record meals and estimate the associated carbon (CO₂e) and energy footprint, together with weekly and monthly sustainability reports. Estimates are provided for informational purposes and are based on the data you enter and the emission factors built into the Service; they are not a substitute for an accredited audit.

3. Subscription & Billing

The Service is offered on a recurring subscription of R500 per month. Payments are processed securely by PayFast. By subscribing you authorise SustainaMET to charge the recurring fee until the subscription is cancelled. Fees are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your profile page. Cancellation stops future billing; the Service remains available until the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service lawfully.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, SustainaMET is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or from reliance on its estimates.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
